Traditionally, resumes provide employers with summary job descriptions and some provide a listing of skills. Most resumes tell you, in the form of creative writing, what the candidate wants you to know.

Is that really enough information to effectively qualify potential candidates? Would it help to know the specific skills, years of experience and levels of proficiency that each candidate possesses as compared to your profiled ideal candidate? Would it help to be able to instantly sort, filter and match the best candidate with your profiled ideal candidate? The PeopleFilter profile centric system does all this and more.

Candidate Profiles
PeopleFilter uses a common language of skills from our extensive library of more than 13,000 occupational skills to quantify an applicant’s experience in a way that is meaningful to the hiring process. Our skills-based profiles give us the ability to precisely score applicants against opportunity profiles before you've spent a single minute looking at an applicant. Candidates are instantly matched and percentage-ranked displaying the best qualified at the top of the list.

There is no time-consuming review session of the entire stack because you already know who has the most relevant experience. And now you know how much experience the applicants have as well, and you know how proficient they are at each skill. The system presents a complete, efficient and consistent representation of each candidate all in one comprehensive accessible data base. PeopleFilter looks at ALL the applicants so you only have to look at the best, most qualified applicants.

VS. Keyword Searches
Resumes are typically collected from job board databases using some form of keyword search technology. Supply a list of words related to the opportunity skill requirements and the resume database content is scoured for resumes that contain the specified word(s) or phrases. Since the words and phrases are matched without any consideration of their context in the document, hundreds of the returned resumes will likely have little relevance to the opportunity you are looking to fill. Irrelevant resumes require valuable time to review and are a significant drain on your internal resources.
