Communication is an important aspect of effective recruiting. Notifying applicants that their application has been received or is being reviewed, or that their application has been declined or forwarded to other decision makers are all important, but they are tedious and time-consuming activities.

PeopleFilter has a built-in messaging system that allows automated event messaging based on customizable message templates. Some examples of these types of messages include:

  • Standard messages that are sent to applicants once they are put onto the hidden list (‘no’ pile).
  • Standard messages that their application is under consideration and they will be notified of the next steps to be taken.
  • Applicants submitting only a resume will receive a standard message thanking them for the resume and requesting that they come back to the system to complete the application process by filling out the rest of their profile.
